The second edition of the "Afghanistan Filmfestival" will take place at the Filmhaus in Cologne, Germany from the 23rd to the 31st of october. This year's edition, "Panorama Hindukusch" offers, apart from one week of movies from Afghanistan, also a diversified program (talks, discussions, concerts, a party and an art exhibition).

"Instead of ignoring the problems the country faces, the Afghan Film Festival offers the possibility to gain insight into Afghan society and it’s difficulties. The Afghan Film Festival is meant to be a place and event focused on creativity, exchange, encounters and encouragement. It hopefully brings people closer together, breaks down prejudices and supports cultural approaches."
