If you are in Germany and have the opportunity of going to the Beethovenfest in Bonn (04.09.-03.10.), I can only advise you to do so. Here you can find the program.
Bonn is the home city of Beethoven and if you ever find yourself nearby, you could also visit Ludwig van Beethoven's birthplace, the Beethoven-Haus. This Museum, apart from having architectural value, contains the largest Beethoven collection in the world. In addition to the exhibitions, visitors to the Museum will find a studio in the adjoining Digital Beethoven-House for digital collections and a stage for musical visualisation. You could also take a guided tour of "Beethoven's Bonn" (visiting several places that are related to him).
