Survive Style 5+ is one of my favourite movies. It's absurd, insane, original, comic, bizzare, vivid, it has a stunning visual style, amazing (art) direction and a great fast-paced but easy to follow plot (even though it contains 5 different slightly interveaved stories). Director Gen Sekiguchi and screenwriter Taku Tada, successful award winners in Japan's advertising industry, make their feature-film debut with this surreal omnibus film, starring Vinnie Jones and Japan's top actor Asano Tadanobu.
